Headteachers' Conference

The annual PHAB Headteachers' Conference for 2014/15 took place on 19/20 March 2015 at Marriott St Pierre Hotel & Country Club, Chepstow.



PHAB provides a programme of quality professional development for school leaders.  Each year there are 2 main leadership events:
  • 24 hour Residential Conference, in Term 4
  • Inspiring Leadership, 3 day conference in Birmingham, in Term 6
These events complement the termly leadership seminars provided by the Local Authority and reflect the priorities and issues identified by the PHAB Executive annually.

Peer support:

There is a strong and successful history of Peer support in Bristol. This includes:


Membership is open to all Headteachers of City of Bristol state nursery and primary phase schools, including Children’s Centres and Special Schools with primary aged children, Primary Academies and Free Schools.

Annual subscription fees are collected in the autumn term and all eligible schools are sent an invitation to subscribe or renew their subscription each year.
